Cat is a graduate counseling internship student working towards her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling with plans to obtain her LPC upon graduation. Her interests include working with individuals dealing with eating disorders, anxiety, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions.

She received her undergraduate degree in clinical/counseling psychology from Colorado State University and worked for several years as a domestic violence victim’s advocate. Cat has dreamed of becoming a licensed therapist for more than 10 years, and this advocacy work reignited her passion for helping individuals who do not have the resources or support system to cope with the difficulties that life has thrown at them. She has been involved in the health and exercise world for most of her life, and she holds a high value for developing a genuinely and holistically healthy relationship with food and movement.

Cat believes that every person has the resilience to grow into their best self through understanding, acceptance, and putting in the hard work of unlearning habits that have formed out of necessity and self-protection. She believes that each individual is the only one who can truly tell their story, shaping and shifting the narrative of their life. Cat recognizes her clients as the experts on their identity and experiences, and she sees therapy as a collaborative opportunity to peel back the layers of ourselves and work towards love and acceptance of self.
