Please reach out to us if you are interested in joining us for any of our therapy groups listed below!

Virtual HAES Support Group

This support group is exclusively for individuals of all genders, 18 and older, who live in marginalized bodies and have experienced weight stigma in our thin-obsessed, fat-phobic culture. This group is intended to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for folx within the ED community who might feel underrepresented or unheard in their unique struggles with food and body image. Through connection and fellowship, group members will receive support in exploring and processing their experiences of making peace with food in a diet-centric world. We will also explore resources and provide information regarding the concepts of Health at Every Size and Body Liberation.

Important Group Therapy Information

All potential group members must schedule an intake and pre-group orientation appointment at Bloom prior to beginning group services. All intakes and group orientation sessions are charged and often billable to your insurance.

The majority of our groups run on a seasonal schedule with new series beginning every Fall (mid-September), Winter (mid-January), and Summer (mid-May), unless otherwise indicated. After this seasonal enrollment, our groups "close" for the season until the next cycle of enrollment. Seasonal enrollment begins in December, April, and August, but you are always welcome to reserve a spot in advance for our next season by joining the waitlist!

The fee for each group is $50 per session unless otherwise noted (yoga group is $38 per session). At this time, we only accept RMHP for group therapy services. We offer sliding scale options based on financial need as well as discounted fees for members in multiple groups.
