Kristin Pearson, MS, LPCC

Leaves Shadow

Kristin is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate in the state of Colorado. Lucky for you, Kristin has had some real-life experience with things going sideways and getting back up. Her journey bloomed in dedication to the field of mental health and eating disorder treatment.

Kristin specializes in trauma-informed modalities as well as person-centered, artistic, self-expression approaches, and existential theories. She pulls from modalities that help clients identify and heal their internal conflicts. She believes that we all have different parts within us, which have unique roles and responsibilities, and that these parts can sometimes become fragmented and disconnected. By exploring these parts with compassion and curiosity, clients can develop greater self-awareness and inner harmony.

Kristin graduated with her master's degree in mental health counseling from the University of Wyoming. She spends her time listening to books on tape, walking her two warmhearted dogs, Caroline and Benni, practicing and teaching yoga, and backpacking across states.

Kristin’s personal experience has given her a deep appreciation for the resilience and strength of the human spirit. It has inspired her to create a space for others to heal and grow, and to empower individuals to live a fulfilling life inside and outside of their bodies. Her approach to therapy is integrative and tailored to the unique needs of each client. Kristin's goal is to empower clients to take an active role in their own healing process and cultivate a greater sense of self-awareness and self-compassion.

My Therapeutic Lens

  • I believe that by openly sharing our struggles and reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and eating disorders, we can create a more supportive and compassionate community for those who are struggling.

  • I strive to create a warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and understood.

  • Therapy is a collaborative and empowering process, one that supports individuals in discovering their own path toward healing, growth, and self-discovery.

  • Grounded in the belief that every individual has unique strengths, experiences, and perspectives that should be honored and respected in their therapeutic journey.

  • Unlearning old habitual patterns is a big step in how to accept, love, and understand your true self.
