Kristin is a Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate based in Colorado who brings both clinical training and real-life experience to her work. Her path to becoming a therapist was shaped by her own healing journey; one that taught her just how messy, nonlinear, and beautiful growth can be. She shows up with deep care, curiosity, and a belief that we don’t need to be fixed, we need to be met.
Kristin specializes in trauma-informed care, with Internal Family Systems (IFS) at the heart of her approach. She is Level 1 trained in the model and drawn to the way it makes space for every part of us; the ones that protect, the ones that ache, and the ones that quietly hope. Kristin also pulls from somatic practices, mindfulness, and creative expression to support clients in reconnecting with their bodies and inner wisdom. She works through a Health at Every Size (HAES) lens and holds space with respect for each person’s lived experience.
Originally from the East Coast, Kristin identifies as a white, cisgender woman. She brings awareness to how her identities shape her lens and stays engaged in ongoing reflection, learning, and unlearning. Outside of therapy, you’ll likely find her walking her dogs Benni and Caroline, listening to audiobooks she may or may not finish, reading oracle cards, or recharging in nature with a good cup of coffee in hand.
My Therapeutic Lens
-
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, seen, and supported without needing to perform or be anyone other than who you are.

-
I use IFS to help clients build relationships with the parts of themselves that have been trying to help in the only ways they know how.

-
I think healing happens when we stop trying to be “good” and start getting curious about what’s true.

-
I view recovery as a process of returning to yourself—not a destination, not a checklist, and definitely not a straight line.

-
I bring warmth, creativity, and deep respect to every session. You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
