Monica is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student with a background in nursing, bodywork, and bodymind-based grief support. With over a decade of experience, she has supported individuals navigating recovery, trauma, grief, chronic illness, and major life transitions. Her therapeutic approach is relational and holistic, weaving together mindfulness, somatic awareness, and the healing power of nature and community.

She draws on her experience in circle work and group facilitation to create spaces rooted in presence, compassion, and courage. With informed curiosity, Monica aims to honor each client’s lived experience and the ways identity, culture, and systemic forces shape our relationships with our bodies and ourselves. Her understanding of the complexity of disordered eating and body image concerns is informed by both personal and professional experience.

She brings a compassionate, embodied presence to her work, and offers a nonjudgmental space for clients to explore the layered roots of disconnection from self and to begin rebuilding a more compassionate relationship with their bodies. She is particularly passionate about supporting eating disorder recovery through body-centered, trauma-informed, and integrative care.
